This 3×1 HDMI/HDBaseT Switcher from Atlona is a comprehensive AV solution tailored for classrooms and conference rooms, facilitating seamless presentation and collaboration. The integrated mixer/amplifier delivers either two channels of 25W or a single channel of 50W into 4 or 8 ohms, featuring a balanced stereo audio input and two unbalanced stereo audio inputs with individual level control. A balanced stereo line-level output enables the mixed signal to be transmitted to assistive listening systems or separate amplifiers.

The unit’s USB system integrates a USB 2.0 host over HDBaseT and supports connections for up to four peripheral devices, including cameras, speakerphones, interactive displays, keyboards, mice, or storage devices. Designed with educational settings in mind, the versatile device incorporates unique features such as ducking, which automatically reduces the volume of other audio sources when the presenter speaks into their microphone, and PA sense, which mutes the amplifier output upon detecting activity on the school’s public address system.
