2200-Lumen Laser Light Source
The BRAVIA Projector 7 is engineered with Sony’s Native 4K SXRD (Silicon X-tal Reflective Display) panel and Wide Dynamic Range Optics. Featuring an ultra-pure and reliable laser light source, the Bravia 7 Projector lets you enjoy perfectly clear 4K pictures at optimal brightness for up to 20,000 uninterrupted hours. You’ll never have to worry about changing the lamp and virtually no maintenance is required.
Native 4K SXRD Panel
Immerse yourself in an incredibly lifelike picture with native 4K that offers 8.3 million pixels (3840 x 2160). With a 0.61″ SXRD panel, you’ll enjoy high brightness, inky blacks, vibrant colors, rich tones and textures, plus clear cinematic motion, and image smoothness.
XR Processor for Projector
Sony’s XR Processor for projector optimizes their acclaimed BRAVIA TV video processing for projection.

• Cross-Analyzes: Rather than processing various elements such as color, definition, and contrast individually, it analyzes them cross-sectionally to provide more natural-looking images without artificial impressions.
• Depth Mapping: The BRAVIA Projector 7 utilizes Human Cognitive technology to enhance depth and texture for immersive experiences. Foreground depth is enhanced and the background adjusted, so the entire image looks more real and natural.
• Focal Point Recognition: The focal point is where you tend to focus in a picture, where your eyes are naturally drawn to within the scene. It recognizes that focal point and enhances that part of the image.

XR Dynamic Tone Mapping
When watching a movie, peak brightness can change frame by frame. XR Dynamic Tone Mapping analyzes these changes and optimizes brightness frame by frame, ensuring perfect gradation and contrast while keeping the creator’s intent. It also converts SDR to HDR equivalent contrast and colors.
XR Deep Black
XR Deep Black technology enhances dark scenes with deeper blacks and precise color expression by controlling laser dimming in dark scenes and optimizing highlight processing.
XR Clear Image
XR Clear Image analyzes individual objects in every frame, refining detail, while minimizing noise. By cross analyzing frame data, optimal processing is applied to each object in a scene, honing individual details and expressing more lifelike textures. Additionally, noise is minimized through zone division and dynamic frame analysis.
Everything Upscaled to 4K Quality
Whatever the content or source, images are upscaled to near 4K quality. The XR processor accesses a vast database to intelligently recreate lost texture and detail.
XR Triluminos Pro
Enjoy spectacular brightness and stunning realism, thanks to Wide Dynamic Range Optics that achieve a 95% DCI-P3 wide color gamut.
Input Lag Reduction
Enjoy the latest games on the big screen. Sony’s 4K projectors include ALLM (Auto Low-Latency Mode) input lag reduction that enables the player’s input to be reflected on screen with minimal delay. The BRAVIA Projector 7 supports 4K120 sources with an input lag under 12 ms, and 4K60 sources under 21 ms.
