TASCAM TM-2X Stereo XY Condenser DSLR Microphone

The Tascam TM-2X Stereo X-Y Microphone for DSLR Cameras is engineered to bridge the gap between high-definition video and professional-grade audio. Utilizing the same high-performance condenser components found in Tascam’s renowned DR-series recorders, the TM-2X uses an X-Y configuration to deliver realistic stereo imaging with minimal phase differences, perfectly matching your visual perspective.

Designed specifically to combat common on-camera audio challenges, the microphone includes several built-in features:

• Built-In Noise Reduction: Features a floating support structure integrated into the hot-shoe mount that effectively dampens camera handling sounds.
• Noise Isolation Arm: An included extension arm physically separates the microphone from the camera body, minimizing mechanical autofocus and lens stabilization noises.
• High SPL Handling: Capable of handling sound pressure levels up to 120dB SPL, allowing you to record loud environments—like concerts or live events—free from distortion.
• Versatile Controls: Equipped with an onboard low-cut filter to eliminate low-frequency rumble and a two-stage sensitivity switch for broad camera compatibility.
• Outdoor Ready: Includes a custom furry windscreen to cut down background noise when shooting in breezy outdoor conditions.

Operating entirely on plug-in power directly from your camera and featuring a 180-degree rotatable vari-angle structure, the lightweight TM-2X ensures your video projects sound just as good as they look.
