Government, defense and regulated offices that share one keyboard, mouse and display set between secure computers rely on the Vertiv Cybex SC945 (SC945-001), a 4-port dual-head DVI-I desktop KVM switch.
It isolates four computers with unidirectional optical data diodes, always-on anti-tamper protection and ROM-based firmware, and it is certified to the NIAP Protection Profile for Peripheral Sharing Switches v3.0. A Dedicated Peripheral Port connects authentication devices such as smart card or biometric readers, and the switch supports dual-link DVI up to 2560 x 1600 at 60 Hz.
